Am i the the commanding manager at work or the submissive mom who lives to cook n feed?

Am i the romantic at heart or the groaning mid life wife?

Am i my golden highlights or the greys that catch me in the sun?

Am i the considerate friend or the do not disturb, i am in my world loner.

Am i the roast coffee girl or adrak ki chai person?

Am i kind or i am weak?

Am i the shy and quiet or the bubbly of the party?

Am i a dreamer or the practical doer?

Am i the person who is ready to walk a new path discovering trails and quaint places with my family or i wanna rule the corporate?

Am i the invigorating snow clad peaks or the quiet of the beach?

Am i the lover or an attention seeker?

Am i the handloom saree with nosepin n gajra lady or frayed jeans with boots roadie?

Am i a religious fanatic or a meditating mystic?

Am i this or that or i am more?

I am an ocean of contradictions and a bundle of non conformities.

But this is what makes it me and my journey my very own and unique.

Fitness Diary - I

Making some basic changes in my lifestyle is slowly helping me get back in shape. I am broad structured and ideally my weight should be 63-65 kg, while i weigh 73 kgs right now. Slowly i will reach there! What am I doing on the fitness front? Fitness Diary- IV

Do you go to pizza hut and start looking for a salad, without a mayonnaise dressing. Well, I did just that! When my family wanted to check out the new pizza in town, I tried to woo them to something healthier, maybe southindian- where I could do with idlis, maybe here, maybe there, but no not pizza hut, when I had spent a good ten mins preening in front of the mirror, marveling at my new waist. Of course, I had just a tiny a slice of pizza later that evening, but it made me realize that I indeed have a strong will power, I took time enjoying my salad which was really nice. It was a mix of exotic vegetables with a predominant oregano and lemon flavor. Only gripe it was a li'l more salty than required. It took me some time to write this particular diary, coz a lot was happening. I gained half a kg , lost it back, gained more gyaan on my metabolism, fitness and here I am posting how the very busy working mom is trying to stay bang on with her fitness regime. When i rush home after a long day, my mind is whirling on dinner menu, spending time with li'l one, maid issues, health of ageing parents, clothes for next day, homework, ppts...phew..! I am sure most women face these moments..But ladies, when u are in the long haul u cant let yourself wither away like that. Create magic at home, destress amidst all the chaos around u.
